What are the ceremonies, and why are they important?
Our ceremonies are part of the rich tradition of Alpha Delta Pi.
We ask a minimum of at least 3 weeks notice prior to the ceremony date to allow
Executive Office to prepare and mail certificates.
Membership Recognition Ceremonies
The 25 Year Ceremony: A Tradition of Sharing
Who is eligible? Any Sister initiated for at least 25 years (1990 or earlier) and not yet participated in this ceremony.
This ceremony provides the opportunity for recognition of those Sisters who are in a busy but stable time in their lives, reminds us of their dedication and asks for recommitment to the goals expressed in our Creed.
The 50 Year Ceremony: The Diamond Circle
Who is eligible? Any Sister initiated for at least 50 years (1965 or earlier) and not yet participated in this ceremony.
This ceremony provides the opportunity for recognition of our Sisters who have demonstrated their loyalty to Alpha Delta Pi.
The 60 Year Ceremony: Precious Reminders
Who is eligible? Any Sister initiated for at least 60 years (1955 or earlier) and not yet participated in this ceremony.
This moving ceremony is one of heartfelt appreciation to these dedicated Sisters, providing a tangible reminder of the stages of life.
The 75 Year Ceremony: Living Diamonds
Who is eligible? Any Sister initiated for at least 75 years (1940 or earlier) and not yet participated in this ceremony.
This ceremony gives us all the rare opportunity to publicly recognize these very unique and important Sisters.
Other Ceremonies
Jewel Degree
Who is eligible? Any fully initiated sister who has completed their college education.
This important ceremony provides the last secret ritual of Alpha Delta Pi.
The ceremony will be given by the Eastern Nebraska Alumnae Association.
The Remembrance Ceremony
A solemn and lovely ceremony, this provides the opportunity for us to publicly pay tribute to our sisters who are no longer living.
